I also find schools a good place to meet different people. However ask your parents if your teachers (even if not pro-DDR) were able to speak freely? Would you like to have teachers who speak through a mental/political filter?

Down-vote me if you’d like, but the opposite is also true, in many regards: Where I come from (Germany), (public) schooling is seen as a way to indoctrinate children to their government’s political agenda (call it a religion if you like). S

I’ve switched to VS Code from Sublime and IntelliJ. Then it become so slow on a recent MacBook Pro that I finally switched to NeoVIM for editing any file of any programming language a year ago. I’m rediscovering keyboard shortcuts and custo

How many HN karma points are required to flag an article? Edit: Ah, there actually was a flag link, I overlooked it.

That's one way to interpret the story but that's not how would suggest to understand things. Given your explanation model we could easily argue that every dead person which tested positive for herpes will be accounted to herpes. A

That’s my point. It’s all about assumptions. Exactly as with the article being discussed in this thread. Such articles have little value to understanding truth. But they help with superspreading fear.

Internet is full of bullshit these days. “Doing a simple/quick search” is NOT leading to a true understanding of things in 2020.

Exactly. That’s the point —- it’s all about assumptions being made for the other 94%. And it’s easy to come up with assumptions. And it’s hard to understand the truth.

I’ve heard that CDC has corrected down c19-related deaths to a merely 6% of the initially c19-reported deaths. The other 94% had other health issues as well and it can’t be said any longer that their death is related to c19. Isn’t that true

Aren’t all world-wide c19 measures made on assumptions? Slowly people are realizing that such assumption-based „science“ might not have been that scientific at all.

Indeed. And strange how putting c19-positive elderlies back from hospital into nursery homes (presumably contaminating many others as reported from NY) hasn’t been called a superspreading effect yet.

Here in Europe they are freed from legal consequences should the vaccine harm someone. Instead our countries are to pay any occurring damaging. So I don’t quiet get what motivated the vaccine makers to await the approval given that they are

Thanks for this article. It made me buying a Kinesis Advantage. Since long I wanted to “get rid” of my notebook‘s touchpad and start using HJKL and all the other navigational commands in vim (instead of 2-finger scrolling on my touchpad). W

@AndrewDucker: I’m curious to know why you picked the “eye in the pyramid” as the icon of your post, which is also known as the symbol of the Illuminati.

It’s not fictional by no means. There’s sufficient evidence that Nazi-Germany researched about Adrenochrome that make it appear fictional to me. I would be careful in neglecting its existence and its use. You don’t know who you protect.

No need to be insulting yourself. I was asking for evidence of the personal attacks and you listed them. The AP should have added then that a newborn was insulted instead of referring to „his family“. Someone who insults a baby must be quie

Still, no evidence of causal relation between insulting his family and the decision to control social platforms.

In your quotations there's nothing about any insult to his family. That means a causal relation isn't yet proven.
