Scientists observe, try to disprove their theories, and come to conclusions about theories they could not discredit. Politicians start with their conclusions, find alternative theories and then seek to discredit them. We need to vote for po

Yes, but companies don't see that they are running into this problem unless they get outside their own bubble. When they keep doing what worked for them yesterday, they run into trouble.

I like working with people with high expectations because you learn the most from them but you can't let them dictate your self-worth.

Personally I would look for less technical but more grounded Instructional Systems Design info. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instructional_design https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloom%27s_taxonomy

Adaptive learning is great but you still need to develop content using instructional design principles or else you can't adapt anything. You can't just dump content in and hope for the best.

I would say the theft of attention and concentration is a cancer on society, but I agree overall. To those who say there is no other model, you are not correct.

Good coders take a problem domain and turn it into what looks like code. Great coders craft code that looks like the problem domain.

First of all, I laughed at the 20-second average per game in self-play, since I ran into the same thing and have been trying to speed up the algorithm but haven't been able to get it faster (without throwing more hardware at it). Secon

Curious about 2 things: 1) Can it solve especially hard Sudoku puzzles? (ie, expert level where humans often get stuck) 2) Is there a resource somewhere that lists the types of Prolog problems that it excels at solving?

Are you saying that a cold-war-era system like the internet/arpanet meant to survive a nuclear war might be vulnerable to an attack if we take all the code and data and store it in the same place? :-)

I used it for an Adobe Acrobat project years ago. Acrobat Pro let you store comments via WebDAV in a way that you could collaborate on a single PDF and see all comments from all users. But, you needed to set everything else up on your own.
