It's a marketing campaign and that's all it is. Zero substance on the website about what they're doing to make sure more people actually eat like this.

It's a nice website, sure. But what is this administration actually doing to change American diets? It's going to take a little more than throwing up a marketing landing page with a well produced video and nice photos.

What a brilliant marketing campaign for the Trump administration to look like they're doing something positive. Yet, I see absolutely nothing on this website to suggest how they are going to change American diets. Do they think these

I used an Awair Element after wondering if Co2 buildup was causing my groggieness in the morning and an ever so slight dull headache. My bedroom was quite small at the time, but I measured the same effect of buildup in a larger bedroom, jus

Quite cool! I'd love an easy way to connect to and run an existing GitHub/GitLab repo in a VM and spin it up, and iterate on that and be able to open PRs etc from there.

Is there a difference here between a proof and an automated test? I'm curious what a proof would look like compared to my RSpec unit tests and what the actual implementation would look like.

It's quite dystopian. Seeing people in your family, and friends, just mindlessly consume that shit, for hours upon hours - and many of them are completely oblivious to the fact that these reels and shorts are engineered to keep them e

It's about as good an idea as firing up a bunch more coal power stations. The grid, at least in the UK, has a bunch of these industrial gas turbines for coping with peak demand, etc and being able to quickly add more power to the grid.

They're jet engines - very loud. They're acting like this is new tech or something innovative - it's not. Google "RB211 industrial gas turbine" and watch a vid of one being fired up - they're used to pump oil

Marketing hype bullshit. These guys are acting as though this is some new concept, whilst they've just rebranded it in a shiny silver package. Aero derived gas turbines like the RR RB211 are everywhere, already packaged like this, po

Now this is cool. Combined with localLLMs and some nice Obsidian integration of some sort, all away from Google and other Big Tech - this is the future of tech I want to see - not some centralized bullshit from Google or Meta.

Can you explain why I would pay almost the full price of Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude again - just for your context layer, when these companies are already working on context? I don't see you justify this with an explanation of the ROI a

Your landing page tells me a whole lot of nothing. How does this work? How does it differ from other solutions? Why do I need this? What does the implementation look like if I added this to my codebase?

I wonder who installed it. Was the pilot home 3D printing mods for their plane? And is that even allowed? Super concerning if there was a company behind the installation. I'd think any semi competent engineer would know better. Edit

Frankly I don't think the article even deserves a response. One of the worst pieces of journalism I've read in a long time, which makes me think it's AI slop.

I wouldn't review it - bad engineering practice to submit this much work in one go - it puts too much expectation on the reviewer and makes it more likely that something gets broken. Even 1000 lines is pushing it, IMO. Tell them to sp

I'm taking one look at Elixir and I'm not sure how it's supposed to be an improvement from Ruby? The readability and syntax seems to be a step backwards, so I'll stick with Ruby/Rails, thanks!
