As of systemd 252, this is undocumented functionality. -o is only specified for systemctl status.

Drew is very convinced that he is one of the good guys. I hope he doesn't end up like Drachenlord or Chris-Chan, because the way he is breeding his anti-fans/haters, that's his current trajectory.

Yes, plain startx has stopped working from upstream defaults. I think it was related to Xorg now having to talk to seatd (or alternatives) to get access to the input/video devices. In Debian it still works because Debian is slow with u

The Linux kernel is much stricter about hacky patches and regressions. This has led to beef between the kernel and system developers in the past. The famous "I'm f*cking tired of your code" was directed at a systemd developer

How can you say its a good thing? I have 6 Laptops that cannot boot 6.0ff Linux due to kernel regressions. I'm running out of devices that can run Linux without crashing.

The article doesn't mention this: systemd is not well written software, and far from behaving robust and consistently. Take some time, look through the currently open issues on Github, see for yourself whether you consider this stable

There is the smoking gun: > resulting in ammonia concentrations ranging from 25 to 120 μM in 1 hour Not usable as fuel. You'd need to separate the ammonium from the water using a energy intensive process (cooking or such).

Take that ammonium, burn it, have heat, power a steam engine, infinite energy? Where does that energy come from? 1st law of thermodynamics?

I vaguely learned lisp years ago and i already prefer the guile scheme over systemd - guile correctly takes an argument vector instead of a command string which needs to be split using some obtuse shell quoting rules. Having the shell taken

KVM is not only the kernel side - the userspace side of KVM was implemented in a fork of qemu. That fork later got merged into mainline qemu, so qemu is the "original" implementation of a KVM hypervisor.

Debian is supposed to be stable, but the last time apt hosed itself is barely two weeks ago. The suggestion with the bug sensitivity is belittling, cut that out.
