I've driven under ETCS in a simulator before and i was surprised you need to interact with the screen at all during operation. ETCS doesn't have "attention" buttons you have to press like with the german PZB.

Like UV light, alpha radiation is easily shielded by most kinds of material. Even after skimming the linked publication, it does not seem clear to me how the alpha radiation (and UV) would reach the devices sensor. Probably something behind

Do you think it is appropiate to compare Trump with Hitler? I think industrial-scale genocide is a bit of a different league than Trump.

It is what i did. Learn to live with hunger for a while instead of going to "fix it" instantly. No idea why you are so dismissive.

What you are referring to is not done by `man`, but by `less`. The pager that `man` uses is configurable.

I disagree. I have been writing man pages for a while, and mastering the language is hard. The documentation for both mdoc and mandb format is not covering the whole language, and the only remaining reference for roff itself seems to be the

Example: When humans play Minecraft, they already know object permanence from the real world. I did not see anywhere that AI got trained to learn object permanence. Yet it is required for basics like searching for your mineshaft after turni

I think you got unlucky with unzip because you noticed. Distributions heavily patching software is rather the norm than the exception. As an example, look how Debian patches the Linux kernel: https://udd.debian.org/patches.c

I don't think it is infinite - each universe can only have that mass/energy that fell into the outer black hole in the parent universe. At some level you'll inevitably have black holes with universes that do not have enough m

The inner black hole did not come from the outside, it formed inside and if i had to guess, it is stuck in the inside together with all the other matter, unable to interact with the outside of the outer black hole.
