This test was clearly written in a time in which a cup of coffee was $0.06. :-) In all seriousness it took me like 5 readings to figure out what was being asked for this question.

It always makes me sad when people don't support linux. Especially when they are starting the design for Mac, it shouldn't be that hard to compile for both.

Is this python 2 or 3? Your description said that you didn't allow underscores, but if this is python 2, people would still be able to run threads (threads were renamed _thread in python 3).

Not me, but I read about a contest that was similar to this. Unfortunately I can't find a link but the general idea was that people could write worms under a very small size limit and fight for control of memory much like this game.

You can also use it to run things like a daemon. For instance rtorrent does not have a daemon mode because you can use screen or tmux to "hide" it by running it in tmux and then detaching. You can then re-attach to the processes t

This is probably the coolest site I have seen in terms of reactiveness. They even had the insight to have the backgrounds of the videos the same color as the site background. Awesome!

I do not believe that Wayland would provide this functionality, rather that it would provide separation to enable this functionality. This functionality would be implemented in a compositor for Wayland. There is something similar for X, cal

I am very much rooting for Wayland. It is going to bring features like screen/tmux to graphical programs. Nothing like going to work at home mid day and attaching to the individual programs that you had running on your other machine. T

This site could be much nicer if they used javascript to render the latex equations, most of them are already in latex anyways (without the $ signs).

Are there any tutorials on this so that we can compare it to emscripten?

Definitely. I don't think it would be that bad on a 1024x768, but widescreen it's really bright. EDIT: By the way, you can make it readable with: document.getElementById("wrapper").style.backgroundColor='white'

I think Java is bigger in terms of the amount of classes/methods that there are to remember. Perhaps I compare them unfairly because I consider everything in the SDK to be a part of Java, whereas the things people might usually bundle

I cannot comment on Ruby. I, personally, think Java is a much bigger language than (base without other scripts included) Javascript. Of the two, I prefer Java for it's strong types. My biggest problem with Javascript is that if I mak

I don't see how lisp could get rid of parends with indentation. Parends are used for function calls so you would then have to indent one extra level to call a function? If there was a workaround for the function calls, then it would al

I think many people that don't like lisp haven't spent much time with it. I personally do not like lisp. I took an artificial intelligence class where we wrote search techniques in common lisp. One problem that I had with lisp is

You can change the bindings for keys. I think Pyroscope is what you are talking about for the plugin? Archlinux provides rtorrent-pyro in the AUR which you could use without patching.
