I'll just hop in here without reading the article and say that I've actually been using UML (plantUML specifically if that matters) to communicate with LLMs about software structure with some pretty good success. Turns out compute

I mean, it only is because most people either don't have other options or don't care. Us HN nerds could easily build alternatives we just don't. Or the ones that we do are so niche we never find them. Interesting how there al

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't use Whisper. I just wish they could have gotten whisper.cpp working for live transcription on device. But you can also turn on Voice Control and type with your voice without using Open AI - iOS dicta

I had chat.openai.com saved to my homepage so here's my finding so far: - snappier - search through conversation history via title search - whisper built in for record -> transcribe workflow (does not work "live" unfortuna

The article, in its entirety, only mentions an open source model one time. That one time only states they are unlikely to release an open source model. I should definitely not such a little thing annoy me at all but this is just dumb. We’ve

Social media as a tool strikes me as the same kind of argument as “REAL socialism hasn’t been tried yet” It doesn’t feel at all to me that there are any social media platforms that function at all like tools but rather data vampires attempt

okay this is way over my head - but this would have to be steganography hiding in the audio file that could only be run by someone like OP, detecting; downloading; etc the udp data, right?

I’m doing this as part of the Solana hackathon with some extra bits. We’ll share here if I can remember! Use whisper for transcription. I have paid for Otter for years and am a little work away from replacing it with my own open source web

Doesn't this get us into a sort of perpetual motion machine with the back and forth being 1) generate paragraph of my essay 2) feed it into this classifier 3a) if AI -> make it sound more human 3b) if human -> $$$ Profit? Obvious

Best of both worlds to use this compilation as inspiration for one’s own company pie programming sessions. I don’t find it useful to evaluate whether or not a potential hire can map and reduce a list in JavaScript or fix some silly react bu
