I wonder if there was ever a dither-free version in a different format?

A huge contributor they missed: technical faults. Between glitchy connections and people's inadequate microphone setups, everyone is constantly asking each other to repeat themselves. This is exhausting to me.

> You don’t need a license to operate these aircraft because they’re easy enough to fly that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) doesn’t see the need to regulate them. I don't think that's the reason. The reason is that t

I bought ergodox EZ and haven't had a bad RSI flare-up since. It's worth the money if you can afford. The switches are individually replaceable. Should last decades.

\usepackage{libertine} will give you the font used by ACM journals/proceedings, which looks really nice to my eyes. It's less "severe"-looking than Computer Modern.

The result in the paper is not an approximation result. The shallow network is of bounded width and is exactly equal to the deep one.

They complement each other well IMO. Nocedal & Wright focus more on algorithmic details and methods that can be applied to nonconvex problems. Boyd & Vandenberghe focus more on convex analysis and showing how some non-obvious proble

I agree this is a super common case. I don't have a benchmark, but I bet when actually moving structs the C qsort starts looking a lot more reasonable.

I got my first programming job in 2011, working on a specialized and computationally heavy desktop app. This already felt like a bit of an anachronism, but smartphones weren't central to our lives yet and Electron didn't exist. I

I too am repelled by the complexity of deep learning research, but using the phrase "visionary journey" in the abstract is a bit of a crank alert...

It sounds like this was a difficult task. The motivation to fulfill Prof. Powell's request and help the community of derivative-free optimization users must have been strong. Congratulations on your achievement! From the GitHub README:

South tower (runways 25L & 25R) and North tower (runways 24L & 24R) are on different frequencies. On LiveATC you can listen to each tower individually.

Would be interesting to see some transformations like sqrt(pagerank) weight to get the chains more like 10-12 steps instead of 60.

Could we use a phase-locked loop instead of a sliding window FFT? I guess only if you're sure the recording contains no splices?
