Every time something with tailwind is posted there is always a rehash of this response. I believe most of this frustration comes from using tailwind in the raw. There are a few essential libraries available that amplify the power of tailwin

My challenge with Tremor has been the ability to get the final 5% of customization I need. I’m living off a fork where I can prop drill the necessary configuration to recharts. I had opened an issue a year or so ago which was closed because

I personally can't immediately envision what the disruption would look like. Do you have any notions? Tekion is one of the newer DMSes to be built with modern architecture and be cloud-native versus the retrofit of all the other DMSes

Is R&R still that large? A few NADAs ago I approached them to see about getting a direct integration. Only one of my customers was R&R at that time. ReyRey acted very elitist and told me that they had no interest. Fast forward to th

Oh boy, has this made issues and opportunities for my automotive B2B SaaS. My product's customer are car dealerships and most of my customers are on CDK. This is definitely creating a void of data for them though fortunately my produc

I would have multiple camera footage. One gopro would be just be a wide-angle of the bench behind the players, another would be on the game clock, and additional ones would be on-ice footage. Typically my gopro set-up has been behind the go

I have this in my SaaS, as well. I built an Electron app that ushers the jobs from the cloud to the thermal printer. It all works until there is a failed job and the queue backs up. I haven't quite figured out how to monitor the queue

This. Duolingo is in the same vein which interrupts my flow. Animations shouldn't continuously block the interaction of the experience. The majority should probably be ancillary and be a visual flourish.

I will say this, too. Opal is amazing. It has completely eliminated any use of our freezer icemaker. The ice quality is superior and I believe that is because it is not as hard since the icebox keeps chilled by the ambient temperature of th

I hope not. Failures are on a spectrum and this was unfortunate but probably not malicious. All things considered this should be a lesson learned. There should be more failsafe mechanisms in place so juniors can fail safely and learn from t

I never thought of using a water leak detector like that nor have ever actually used a water leak detector. I can now create my own pressure plate activated door or true AFK notifier. Thanks for the write up!

My first exposure to TP was when I pirated it off a warez BBS in the winter of 93 at the age of 14. The raw power I felt when I compiled my own EXE in contrast to running just a .BAS file was enthralling! I started modding Renegade BBS and

Thank you for the links. I've been traveling recently and missed those previous discussions. I'm glad this one was in my purview as the topic at hand is near to me.

Unfortunately, this is my takeaway too. It feels eerily similar to crypto where they publish a white paper then attempt to profit off their coin.

This tool looks splendid. Personally, it evokes in me the memories of MUDding back in the early 90s. What a concept that would be to MUD to build apps via LLM -- or even MUD to build the MUD in real-time outside of the OLC and scripting. Th

Can’t you get by with ChatGPT-4 for these personal assistant type questions? That’s what I do and my 20 a month goes a long way. I’d be interested to see if I am missing out on anything using GPT to is way in contrast to the API.

I'd wager with the rise of LLMs then we'll get an immense rise of accessibility as the LLM can interpret a page in context of what the user requires.

I’ve been here in Columbus since 2008 and it is nice place to raise a family. It’s a nice cost of living and us plenty to do. I’m on 5 acres just 20 minutes outside of the city. It’s a wonderful environment where I WFH from an RV that I pu
