Does this look like the same file from the deleted repo? https://github.com/rdxunlock/albertsimlockapple/blob/main/AL... I'd love to see an open source version of Beeper with no analytics. I'd

This seems to just be a link to the Unsloth Github repo[0], which in turn is the free version of Unsloth Pro/Max[1]. Maybe the link should be changed? [0]: https://github.com/unslothai/unsloth [1]: https:/&#

This is fun, thanks for sharing! It would be interesting to upload the initial image from a camera to see where the chain takes it.

Neat, they also launched a repo for these universal binaries [0]. It took a little digging, but the list of binaries are here [1]. Might be useful for a universal install script? 0: https://cosmo.zip/ 1: https://

Thanks for this. I've been using Binary Ninja, but may have to try out Ghidra. I was surprised how little I found online about it, none of the major vendors seem to have first class support yet.

Maybe a bit off topic, but has anyone had success using LLMs to reverse engineer firmware assembly code? If they aren't going to release it open source, maybe that's the next best thing.

This is the first time I've heard of C2PA authentication[0]. It looks like they are digitally signing images from the cameras now to create a chain of authenticity. There's even TruePic[1] that is an authentication service that wi

I've been running support groups for the last two years. While there are a few people who try to take all the space, most people enjoy the explicit permission (consent?) to talk about themselves. When they do, it's wonderful. We n

I wonder if someone will make a browser extension that swaps out the video tag on youtube.com and replaces it with an Invidious (or other YT frontend) instance stream for the same video. You'd get an ad-free experience on YouTube witho

Since you seem to know and I'm having a rough time finding good info, I'd love to put together a mid range 3090 box to mess around with LLMs. Do you have any pointers to a good build list?

23andMe is also a Django app, at least the logged in site[0] and the API[1]. The API actually started off with Django 0.96. I had the distinct pleasure(?) of upgrading it to Django 3. [0] https://you.23andme.com/ [1] https

I was super excited when this popped up because I'm looking into solutions for this problem right now. I was, however, surprised to see it wasn't self-hosted or open source. As others have mentioned, there are security issues here

The sad reality is that this will be more common over time as more ebikes come onto the market. The companies making them don't even need to go out of business. For example, Super73 released what they called their 'torque update&#

If it helps, I did try the practice mode, but still found it frustrating. I was hoping when I got the wrong note it would not only show me the correct one, but also show me all the notes at the same time. That would help me correct my logic

I see a few people using this to scrub metadata, which is great. If you're on Mac and don't mind having a UI, there's a tool I've been using for all my images that both scrubs metadata and uses the latest compression tec

There's a lot of negativity in this thread and being the good contrarian I am, I wanted to see what's so bad about this. I went ahead and installed it. Sure, the login part is annoying, especially since I don't see any killer

I'm not sure if this claim is true or not, but the person in your first reference is Andrew Schulz. He's a comedian who has already come out to say that he made all that up, and the media just ran with it [0]. [0]: https:/&#

I'm not going to defend the damage mining like this does, but it seems unfair to say oil is any better [0]. In my opinion, oil causes much more damage and is harder to contain. [0] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/L

Having a cross-platform file watcher built into a ubiquitous tool like git is pretty awesome. I could see build tools integrating with this and making more aspects of development faster without having to run a bunch of file watcher services

I think it depends on how large your codebase is and how many dependencies it has. The first issue is that any new 3.x release is going to have bugs introduced by new features, and possibly regressions in old ones. This could cause your cur

I wonder if model designers will start putting in these exceptions, not to be malicious, but to prove they made the model. Like how map makers used to put in "Trap Streets"[0] in their maps. When competitors copy models or make mo
