This lowering testosterone thing - does this explain the decline of athletes when they become parents? I don't know if a 20% decrease in testosterone has a material effect on the body's ability to produce and maintain muscle mass.

I just wanted to say something supportive. You didn't fail; a bacteria affected the situation more than modern medicine was capable of handling. I hope you're not blaming yourself.

It seems like you need a strong hypothesis for growth and a strong hypothesis for customer acquisition. It seems like knowing what you're going to build can help drive how you will distribute, and but vice versa seems less obvious. It

This is not surprising. This is basic game theory - Nash Equilibrium. The reason there are so many people trying is because it's about how the pie is divided, not how large the pie is.

The first start up I worked for we made our desks out of doors that had been discarded. There's an IKEA in East Palo Alto. Sleeping on the floor for extended periods of time is ridiculous. Even a $30 inflatable air mattress is better

I'm curious about the performance/success of remote-only on-boarding. If I move to Wyoming, google can lower my salary by 25% because of "market" factors. However, can they replace someone on-boarded on-site for 5 years

When I consider the implications for the children of this world, these thoughts make me deeply sad. Not in a way I feel I can directly action. Not in a way that many children don't have bigger problems than saving the whales. Just sad.
