The "I'm an engineer, not a copywriter" line is part of his sales message. Not an issue, because he is an engineer who also writes copy, and helps other engineers sell software. This is the sales message that drives the point

I did not know about React. It looks to be like the solution I need for one of my personal projects. In your experience, how does a React code base evolve as it grows? I've bumped into other libraries and frameworks that look simple at

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I'm gonna have to build my own case then. :)

My question is related to the actual rounded case. Is something like it available for the PC market? I'm tired of the standard boxy-looking case on my robotics workstation.

Does the PC market offer a similar clone case as the one on the Pro?

The point Elon Musk makes is about information equality. It seems you were lucky enough to be at a place in time where a good amount of information was readily available. Not me. I had to depend on very old encyclopedias. No libraries avail

>Do you think 4-5 months learning Java, C# or C++ are enough to start taking on projects? No. Neither is it enough time to do projects in Rails, Node or Django. Those frameworks are very complicated and demand that the programmer underst

Yes, that is quite common. People will start asking for 100% quality at 100% time. Then reduce time to 80%. Problem is quality is closely tied to time. As a result, code starts being written under the guise of it being a temporary solution.

I'm working on a project with one of the points in mind. Its an API that allows popular embedded cards (arduino, raspberry pi) to message each other through the web. It called bbedy ( https://github.com/bliti/bbedy

I really use it for everything. From home projects, to repairs, robotics, auto repair, crafts, and school projects for my child. It is a very handy tool to have. Gathering dust is not a sign of a bad tool, but a sign of a lack of projects.

They may be used to achieve similar results, but follow different paths. Each framework has a different philosophy and functionality out of the box, which may be adjusted to the needs of the project.

I was not selling it. Just researching the idea. Had I tried to sell it people would have not given me much data to crunch. I'm still convinced the idea is good. Though it will require a great amount of effort to gain momentum. Busines

Depends on the project needs. Past choices have been Django, Rails, Flask, Sinatra, Codeigniter, C#, Go, and Java. Every system is different. You shouldn't try to fix every problem with the same tool. :)

I must second the Dremel as a good gift idea. It is the one power tool that I use weekly. Its a saw, drill, sander, and more in one. I use it for many different types of projects. Bought it in the year 2000. Its still going strong.
