To me this is one of those weird things. Basically all of this is an act of faith on our part. We either believe he's legit or we don't. We can't know what kind of weird psy-ops the government is pulling on us. I choose to be

I think Fascism is the best and closest term for a system of control that is emerging that hasn't been properly defined or given a catchy name yet. Fascism wasn't a bad word in the 30s, just like propaganda wasn't a bad word

This is our future. A fascist with asymmetrical hair standing in front of a hip, edgy bit of art, who's funded by a fascist who calls himself a libertarian, waxing eloquently about how good a person he is because the company he founded

Social media is a danger to top down society unless the platforms reside in said top down society then they're more of a danger to the people using them to try to change that society, as China seems to understand.

I use a Thinkpad T430, which I love. I especially love the extra battery I can put in. I get about 8-12 hours of battery life out of it so I can jet around cafes and not worry about having to sit near an outlet. Also, on the days I go into

I can't speak for the T430S but the T430 has 2 levels of backlighting and then if I click function space 1 more time the backlighting goes off and the little lamp at the top of the screen turns on.

I think there's a ton of this kind of communication going on that we don't realize. I have been a practitioner of QiGong for about 9 months and it has opened me up to a whole different dimension of information that is passed between living

I see a great opportunity in this for some sort of voting mill mechanical turk like system for people who aren't political and need money to sell their vote to some fascist with an agenda.

This was awesome. Thank you for writing this. I'm saving money to have a year's cash to live on while fleshing out my idea(s) and heading down the runway of making my way on my own. I'll be making the transition ("falling out of the bottom

First I want to say that it's infuriating that the healing experiences described in this thread are illegal. I don't want to speculate on why this is the case, but I find it fascinating that anti-depressants are legal but drugs like MDMA an

I like your analogy of equating going after the seed cleaners with BitTorrent. I'd argue it's way worse than that also because, if my understanding is correct, the seed cleaning is an integral part of the process of reusing the seeds, which

There is a fundamental problem with the way the web is working now. We're in a kind of limbo. Companies like Dropbox and Airbnb (and the company I mostly work with) actually sell a product and as you say they're good. I've been having a har
