No one is safe from a nation state that is weaponized against you. Just look at what happened in Saudi Arabia and the billionaires there.

Just enough admiration by the author to make someone think they should be like this guy, and approaching life like him is appropriate. Walking away after reading that article, I don't know whether or not to be appalled, or intrigued by

This really brings back some memories. My first career in IT was supporting and implementing an OS/2 Lan Server based banking implementation for a regional bank in the south. The bank deployed what was essentially a massive flat toke

Every company should strive to be an "engine of financial performance." What other expectations do you have of Intel? The amount of engine metaphors I could toss into this discussion are endless.

Pagers just simply have an address (called a Cap Code) to receive messages. It's like a mailbox number. A pager can be programmed with usually up to 4 Cap Codes at a time. If I was speculating on what happened, I would bet that the p

Pagers don't have SIMs, they are simply programmed with a "Cap Code" which is basically the address of the pager. Pagers can be programmed with multiple cap codes, and can function differently based on which cap code address

There was a command line tool available where you could enter a few attributes (such as a username) and the tool would plow through just about every online service to find and report data. Anyone remember what it was?

There is a decent argument to be made that LSA pilots are kept to a safer regime. I only fly in excellent weather and during the day, which eliminates a large majority of the risk profile in aviation. The LSA that I fly, while not IFR cer

There's nothing wrong with it. But it would take lifetimes of money and time to retrofit a city like Houston to move all power infrastructure underground. And there is no way consumers would ever sign up for the cost to do so. It wo
