Yes they're factory pressed Windows administrators who are to be honest fucking useless unless it comes to pointing at someone else but that's another story...they're being replaced piecemeal by bits of Ansible and Linux mach

You can, but we have 450 workstations and about 600 servers. That somewhat multiplies the problems.

I think that depends on what data people manage to sue out of them and then react upon...

We have an enterprise edition VM in test and it appears to react the same as Pro at least. Haven't tried home. What is scary is the lack of GPOs to turn this stuff off which you'd expect in an enterprise product. Technically we ca

Possible. I suspect anything interesting will be C++ however, possibly by design.

You're right hence the extensive reverse engineering. I think you can expose call graphs and assembly with SoftICE or some product like that and infer which windows API calls are used so that's a starting point. However some of th

The problem is that it's TLS encrypted traffic going from a black box component to a remote black box service so it's pretty hard to determine what is going over the channel. Without extensive and complex reverse engineering, you

I've been on Windows 10 for a couple of days now. VPN traffic doesn't leak if the default route is the VPN interface. I tried it and my firewall went silent apart from the tunnel. I have absolutely no fucking idea what it is sendi

I use both. The friction is way lower on the Linux side of things. Sure you can knock up a 50 line powershell script to thing X but if you do it in 97 lines of python it takes less time because you didn't have to download a later versi

The problem is that we deliver everything via the web so people will barely notice if we move our stuff over to an alternative platform from Windows. Microsoft knows it has lock in from a lot of people and it will abuse this. I think their
