This is quite possibly the least informative/descriptive post title I've ever seen. I don't have the vaguest idea what the post is about before clicking the link.

Don't be silly, nobody's saying it's perfect. But it's certainly better than universal vigilante justice. Would you prefer it if copyright holders were free to exact their own "justice" outside of the court system?

They have the super power of working within a judicial framework which forces them to be prove the suspects' guilt thoroughly before any kind of punishment can be dealt. This is not the case with vigilantes.

Why not both? If you use tmux for your terminals you get persistence in case you need to restart X, or when you log in remotely.

Difficult, maybe, but seeing as you're commenting on an article about someone who lives almost 12000 km away and is going, it's clearly not impossible :) Unless you already live in NYC, your current location shouldn't be very relevant.

Such considerations aside, it's quite possible that they'd make more money if they priced it lower. I would think the potential market for a $20 or $30 editor is much larger than that of a $70 editor. Then again, I assume they considered th

This looks like an _awesome_ service! If you don't mind me asking, do you have any grand plans for it business-wise? Will it become a paid service in the future? edit: ah, I see it already is for higher volumes :) That's fair! > This to

I'm not sure this is exclusive to the software/engineering industries. My impression in general is that people "back in the day" were much more content to stay with a single employer for their whole life–or at least long periods of time–tha

Do you never find a page and think, "ah, this will be useful for project X later"? Keeping them all in my browser session for six months before I put it to good use is just unnecessary, so I bookmark it and find it later when I need it.
