Looks cool! The cursive "r" could use some tweaking -- I find the "urn" in the "return"s in the examples hard to read. Other than that, I like it.

Probably cool, but the website disables zooming in phones so I can't tell. I wish pages couldn't disable zooming -- that should be up to me. Does anyone know browsers that always allow zoomi (If any Jane Street blog folks read thi

I'm not very familiar with WASI. For this to be useful for in-browser wasm apps, would browser wasm runtimes have to implement WASI too? If so, are any browsers looking at doing this? I do know that there are WASI runtimes for non-brow

If this is really a cpu bug, why do they make this change windows-only? It's probably the only platform where they have enough users to be able to measure the crash, but shouldn't the fix be applied if building for x86 independent

I thought bitcode backwards compat included that too. If it didn't, Apple's collecting bitcode for watch apps for transparent 64-bit support wouldn't work.

LLVM bitcode is backwards compatible. It is however not forward compatible, so the linker needs to understand the newer bitcode format that clang and rustc use.

Cool! Are you going to accept patches to port this to other operating systems? It would be cool if `clang -stdlib=msvc` joined -stdlib=libc++ and -stdlib=libstdc++.

I wish Apple would make their watch work with Android phones, similar to how they made iPods work with Windows computers way back when.

I agree that not becoming dependent on nascent Google projects is a good call for for consumers. But their cloud offering seems to be pretty stable and reliable. It feels almost as if their consumer and cloud arms are different companies.

It's almost if the GUI ecosystem is mostly independent of the language used. That's because GUI frameworks are a lot of work, so it makes more sense to have bindings to existing ones.

I'm not a fan of electron, but it's possible to build fast apps with it. Teams who build slow apps with electron will likely build slow native apps as well. Slow software is usually not the tech stack, it's the team.
