Prices are just simply insane here. I don't know how anyone who hasn't been part of an IPO or an acquisition is going to be able to buy here. I'm a software engineer and my wife is a nurse. We supposedly fit the demographic t

To me, it's almost as much of a reflection on Microsoft's OEMs as it is on Microsoft that, in 3 years, Microsoft has iterated from it's first device, which was a commercial flop, to a tablet/ultrabook that's only re

I know multiple people who received advice from their doctor within 2 years of starting at Amazon that they should quit, because the stress of the job was having dangerous effects on their health. I can't say that I have heard that of

How is 2nd degree murder different from manslaughter then? My understanding was that murder required premeditation, and intent to kill without premeditation was manslaughter.

Regional operators tend to be better than the national ones. For example I used Midcontinent Communications when I lived in their service area, and it was excellent. Best ISP and cable company I've ever dealt with. Unfortunately, they

I more or less accidentally found out that Google released an ethernet adapter for the original Chromecast[0]. Purchasing that has given me a lot more utility from my Chromecast. I love the device. I am loving how much support there is for

Could you explain more of your Red X method? I think that may work well for me when it comes to work. I'm not sure it would be sustainable when it comes to food or exercise, but there's no reason I can't get a reasonable amou

I agree, but I don't think you can get too specific with any metric without imposing your own value system on everyone. For example, some believe SF/SV is overpriced, some view the cost of living as a luxury expense and think it&#

The failure rate is probably skewed low by YCs growth rate. For example, 1/9 of the companies were in their most recent batch, and it's unlikely that any of them have gone out of business yet. Still impressive though. Any success

Chet Faker released a cover of No Diggity a few years ago, which is responsible for all of my plays of the original on Spotify. A popular cover can probably drive a lot of popularity for an older song on Spotify.
