I agree except for the mechanics of input. It needs to be controllable input, and because we can't "control" our heartbeat or how much we sweat, how could we precisely input into the system?

Some great insight, and a good read. I especially enjoyed the Pokemon Red referencing.

I am gen Y and I freely admit that I do more work in a 'designated working environment'. I hate monotonous work, and it has led me to building scripts etc to do the boring work for me. Our strength comes from that desire to not be bored, so

I can definitely agree with this article, especially since it echos my thoughts about work at 24 years old. The only unfortunate side of the story comes from the people in my age group who will not step up and do the work that comes with th

I just keep my mouth shut and do everything while they all finally figure out what I knew, I have the solution done a lot faster, and I look better for it. There is no need to and try to be bossy and push someone into an answer if they aren

I ran through the whole system, and I noticed that If I use the sliders in the info-graphic to change the down payment, it doesn't update that value in the "How Much House Can I Afford" Down payment text box. Is there a backwards refresh in

If you ask a kid to clean his room, he will never do it because to him it takes too much energy, when it would only take 10 minutes. It is all in the eye of the beholder and it is up to you to let yourself perceive the "energy". I agree wit

Very true. To me this glamour industry is a self fulfiling bubble, just like fashion, in that they are their own ritics, and they give themselves an "A" every time. I was just trying to point out that although what we are seeing might not b

So, startup culture is akin to hipsters? Overley grandiose idealisms, It makes sense. Then again, it isn't bad that people are dreaming, but there needs to be substance to their claims other than just "my [insert app] is going to change the

Thanks for the succinct bit of observation! It is something that no one really picks up on, but when you are told about it all you can think is "huh, that really makes sense". For that I thank you. I am going to go really ask someone how th

I can see where this would be effective. The question is whether you can convince a company to believe the hype, pay money up front, and put in extra effort at the end to recoup that money if the goals aren't met. To anyone who isn't open t

I could not agree more. As the availability of information increases, the necessity of learning in its current incarnation of "school" becomes more obsolete. It is my opinion that there is a mirror between the lifecycles of education and t

I definitely do not want to burn a bridge by attempting to force management to pay me more. I would like to show them that I am worth more than what I am receiving. The last thing I want to try to do is "bully" management into a hostile rel
