I don't know about NSOrderedSet, but for number properties on Core Data objects, you can avoid NSNumber entirely by using primitives. There is an option when generating model objects in Xcode to use primitives, which will do so for you

I read the whole page and still am not sure what this is. Is it similar to an Arduino with on board WiFi?

You missed an easy Windows comparison by focusing on Windows 7 and 8: Vista brought big graphics changes but ran poorly on a lot of existing hardware, similarly to iOS 7 on the iPhone 4.

The spike for the iPhone 3G suggests that the effect is as much or more in people's heads [1] than due to new software. The 3G had all the same parts that affect how fast a phone works: the CPU, GPU, RAM etc, were all the same models a

If a Swift class is made available to Objective-C code (using the @objc annotation, or subclassing an Objective-C class), that class will use message sends for calling methods. Using an Objective-C class, or a @objc Swift class, from Swift

The topic post explicitly says that there is money in being nice. So there is more reason to be nice than just being a decent person.

The phone comes with 1 year of Prime at no additional cost. So it only costs you an extra $100 if you stay on the same phone plan and would pay for Prime anyway. If you wouldn't pay for Prime anyway, the phone isn't very competiti

Interesting idea. We can support unlimited cases by using tuples and varargs, though the fallback has to be the first argument if we don't want to return an optional: func cond<T>(#fallback: T, testsAndExprs: (test: @auto_c

I bet that Drive will still be around in 5 years because Docs relies on it. If Google wants to continue pushing Chromebooks, they need Docs and therefore Drive.

An "A-Player" is someone amazing at what they do and never satisfied with the status quo. These are the kind of people that crank out an MVP that will need to be replaced as soon as you start to scale. They are (generally) terribl

The best approach is to not worry. The battery is supposed to retain 80% capacity after 1000 charges, which should still be enough for decent battery life. The $200[1] cost to replace the battery is well worth it for two years of moderate t

Even if Amazon never got into selling ebooks, Apple would have wanted the same terms: a 30% cut of the sale price, and sane pricing for ebooks. It matches their terms for music[1] and they take the same 30% cut for apps. I wonder what would

If an e-commerce company and Walmart both paid federally-mandated price ceilings, except Walmart enjoyed a much lower ceiling, there may well be pitchforks. But not on the side that you seem to think.
