Easiest thing for me right now is the background. If it has blurry and screwed up bokeh or random patterns, it's probably the fake one. If there's something incredibly detailed, but blurred, it's probably real.

The closest thing that existed like this when I was in college almost a decade ago was an MFJ antenna tuner. It would tell you the impedance at a single frequency, only one port, and that was it. Stopped at... As I recall, 300 MHz. Cost aro

Ok. This is what has been a huge hangup for me. It really seems that if you're doing asyncio, you must do EVERYTHING async, it's like asyncio takes over (infects?) the entire program.

This is an incredible article. If you've never tried to bring up a circuit board before with embedded Linux, this is exactly what it is like. And for the record, device tree has the most abominable syntax ever. status = "okay"

This is what freaks me out about AI. People will use it for years in various fields, and one by one, after a decade or so of use, they'll come to find it was complete garbage information, and they were just putting their trust in a mag

Lived in MD. They did away with the spent shell casing law. Turns out they were literally throwing them unorganized into barrels. No way to organize or search through them if there was a need. Just a massive waste of taxpayer money.

If you ask me what's making the series unpalatable, it's this. Make all the women act like toxic men, and make all the men act effeminate. It goes back to the old line: "Being powerful is like being a woman. If you have to te

RDR2 released on Stadia in 2019. 6000 hours / 4 years is about four hours a day. That's dedication. But man, I feel embarrassed to admit I have 1200 hours in CS:GO. I can't pretend that was a good investment.
