These are the arguments that are always made. The thing is we still devote too much cropland to animals because we have a demand that couldn't possibly be met by grazing animals. Take wild moose as an example. My home country has an ar

Where I live Lyme disease and TBE are the only ones you really need to worry about, and such is the case in large parts of Europe. TBE vaccines are common with a high rate of protection. A lyme disease vaccine will be very welcome.

i got the same thing, but without the ring. When I got antibiotics it had already started affecting my nervous system. I had to eat antibiotics for 3 months. Despite having Lyme disease I am not protected. If a vaccine comes In will take it

Sweden. I have tried both. The best support i got was when the guy at the authorized service provider told me to take the business across the street since it was both faster and cheaper and the device was out of warranty anyway.

What? I have always said "you never leave an apple support experience with a smile. It is always with a belly ache or relief". They are, at least in my part of the world, considered just above Italian car rentals.

You should check python-on-guile. It compiles Python to (unidiomatic) Scheme. The resulting code uses delimited continuations and mutation EVERYWHERE, and still manages to beat python on all my old project Euler solutions.

Signal, as a means of developing the signal protocol, really brought encryption to the masses. Signal, WhatsApp, and RCS accounts for about 90% of my text communication. All encrypted by variations of the signal protocol.

I grew up in the north of Sweden but studied in Mannheim, Germany. Winters in Germany are miserable. If you get snow in winter you will perceive a 2.5-hour day as a lot brighter than it is. Mannheim was like a dystopian crime novel from a 1

Why is that surprising? The perl interpreter is fast and dispatches just about everything to heavily optimized C. Just like python does, it is only better at it. This is the kind of thing where perl really shines.

I don't think that is the main problem. The main problem is that it is illegal for laptops and similar devices to become over 45-ish degrees C at point of contact (lap). I can't remember if it was in the USA, Canada, or EU.

It is simpler in some ways, mostly because scheme has a "syntax tower" where even the most basic things can be understood in terms of other things. Let can be defined in terms of lambda. Let* in terms of let. Letrec* is also not t
