Rapeseed oil is what I use. It can be kept in the fridge, and from what I manage to read online there are no real benefits of olive oil over it except maybe taste and vitamin e content, and people claiming otherwise seem to never really be

It might be because it is standard. It offloads everything to the native UI, which in many situations is a good idea. I don't know how many times I have had web pages break on mobile because of some fancy date selection widget.

For someone like me it is a great agreement. I would install this and start play around and if I liked it I would try to build something and in the end, if it made money, I would buy the product. It is a much better agreement than a 30 day

"really hope" is too weak. This has to be fixed before release. A stable release with this would be unacceptable and would be reason for me to abandon Mac OS. You don't deliver a product with this kind of regression if you wa

The USB DAC i got with the iPad is not great. I have tried a couple on my phone, and about half of them are actually not great. Even worse: cheap usb c headphones all have shit DACs and will perform worse than cheap 3.5mm headphones.

AirPods are not 100x better than wired. If you are not bothered by latency or audio quality, great for you. I usually don't mind audio quality, but the latency drives me insane. My wired headphones have 25ms latency. In perfect conditi

The latency drives me crazy (although some BT5 headphones are getting close to 30ms). The airpods I have tested have all had noticeable (definitely over 100ms in perfect conditions) latency. Some people don't notice it, but it drives m

I wonder if we could ever hope for it to get a 3.5mm port. I am rocking a pixel 5a with a broken screen, but I haven't found a good update yet. An iPhone with an audio jack would make me leave android in 10 seconds.

Regarding state: you can make thread safe transducers. The current SRFI 171 reference implementation is NOT thread safe. You can create a transducer and use it across different threads no problem. But you cannot start a transducer and use t

I have had some plans on updating the SRFI to add some reducers I did not include because I never actually used transducers before writing the initial implementation. I don't really understand what you mean by types (my implementation

You could keep the state using the state monad, or by letting every reducer keep a transparent state in a linked list that whoever is pushing values through it has to handle. The reference implementation keeps it hidden using closures. This

I wrote SRFI-171 for scheme. Ask me anything. I have had many people tell me that the SRFI document [0] made transducers click for them, which is always a nice thing to hear. 0: https://srfi.schemers.org/srfi-171/srfi-1
