I find it somewhat of a shame that dns-over-http3 seems to have killed dns-over-quic and dns-over-dtls. In my own testing the benefit of going dns-over-http3 is that it finally brings dns-over-https down to speeds comparable to dns-over-tls

If anything, ECC is probably easier to break with qc. Shor's algorithm works "better" for discrete logarithms than for prime factorisation. "Better" as in requiring a smaller quantum computer. Still way beyond what

It should also be said that what people in Scandinavia mean by Jantelagen is different from the Sandemose laws. It is more about not acting as if you are more than other people. It is also connected to other cultural things, as not behaving

Writing defmacro in syntax-case is simple. Writing syntax-case with defmacro is not. Everybody seems to think scheme macros means syntax-rules. You can get something pretty cl-esque with implicit renaming macros, but with hygiene as opt-out

I also think you can't really compare them: ZFS more or less says "never use without ECC memory". BTRFS is run on just about any potato there is. I myself would never run a file server without ECC and a UPS configured for a g

Many people use macros as a poor man's inliner, to generate code in a way that adds no benefits over a good compiler. You rarely actually need syntactic abstractions, but when you do you need macros.

Boonen said himself that he was having no issues there. You could probably find that hill and estimate their watt output. I wouldn't be surprised if Cancelaara is in excess of 1400w for short parts of that hill.

Defmacro is trivial to implement in syntax-case, but you are in for a world of pain if you want to use bindings across modules. In have an implementation of tagbody for guile scheme somewhere, using delimited continuations. I have seen it f
