I'll admit to setting up a bit of a straw man here. I am probably to quick to do so because for most of my own life I was a conservative/libertarian type. I know that many of the points, arguments and concerns of this group are valid (lik

Let's certainly hope so. Problem Solving > Ideology. The world is far too complex for a simple set of rules (Ideology) to be capable of providing all the answers to all the problems. The simplest cell in the human body is unimaginably

But does this take into consideration the children that are saved from drowning in an intruder's pool by the presence of their own pool? The only thing that stops a bad guy with a pool is a good guy with a pool.

I agree with you there - having built out even small to medium sized Backbone apps, you find yourself wondering what the "Backbone way" to do things is, only to find there is no "Backbone way." Something I've found which does a great job o

Yes, Handlebars is explicitly designed for logicless templating. If you need real logic in your View (which I might add is often a good time to step back and possibly refactor your solution), you can always fall back on Underscore's templa

I support a minimum wage increase (trickle-down economics is moronic and makes much less sense than a bottom-up approach, but I digress), but let's not forget that a minimum wage increase helps Costco's bottom line, since their biggest comp
