It’s really Instagram right? I want to say something like 95% of small shops selling under Shopify market under Instagram. It’s just that Facebook never took e-commerce seriously enough. If they spent _some_ capital in more useful endeavors

I am left-handed and used a bunch without any issues. However, Sailor makes left-handed nibs. Pilot also has WA nibs that are suitable for writing in various angles.

There are better ways to launder money than to post egregious transactions on a public ledger for all the world to see.

If he’s so vocal about the virus lockdown destroying lives, why was he never vocal about wars? Wars literally destroy lives and economies. Total destruction. Gimme a break. He’s piping up because he bet on the Russell (which completely went

Stripe is the only company worthy of its lofty valuation. I love their products. Not sure how Shopify market cap is nearly 2x Stripe. Makes zero sense to me.

It came directly from the Surgeon General himself. That’s the part that shocks me. It’s basically someone saying don’t use condoms because it’s not 100%.

Traded gold for awhile now and I can say the gold market broke in 2011. It’s not a hedge for anything because it’s correlated to equities (and other risk assets such as crude). It’s really a speculation asset (think bitcoin). In fact, a lo

I was pretty adamant about pointing this out earlier. It’s so basic and for someone like the Surgeon General to spread misinformation is criminal in my view. Sure, it didn’t help that some people were hoarding the masks but the shortage was

China is going to face a deep recession as corporations rethink supply chain. The communist party needs something to blame and US is a perfect target.

I used to support Tesla but can’t help but think recent successes (including the astronomical rise in stock price) got to Elon Musk. I hate to say it but they’re 2-3 quarters away from possibly filing if the virus continues at current pace

I am shocked how many companies were so thinly spread after ‘08 and the virus exposed them. We learned absolutely nothing from 2008 (probably because the govt bailed out everyone). Does capitalism really work when we can’t even enforce true

I think this is being naive. You can wreck your career this way. You can be very talented but get screwed over if you are not aware of the people around you. In sense you need to have an “asshole” radar on at all times and be ready to respo

I think we will finally get inflation! Corporations will move productions out of China. I expect at least 20% will come out of China and into higher cost locations. This will drive up costs. We had it too good for too long.

This is NOT true. N95 is needed for health professionals in an active care environment. THIS DOES NOT IMPLY MASKS in general ARE NOT EFFECTIVE for individuals in public spaces who may run into someone who’s infected.

Just because masks are not 100% effective doesn’t mean they’re not effective at all. The Surgeon General also dismissed masks and is spreading misinformation.

My biggest fear is this virus hitting an antivax community. It’s really hard to stop a virus like this in the US because travel rate is higher while we still have high density areas. It’s very difficult to contain without resorting to Marti

I think Tufte is very overrated. People who are reasonably comfortable with data rather have it in basic format. Tufte-style often takes a lot of effort to produce and the payoff isn’t there. Consultants love it though because they can bill

Etsy is really not a good platform. There’s gotta be a better way to set up these markets. It is now a little more than trivial to roll out your own web store at zero cost. Why pay these exorbitant fees?
