Of course not, but we all shrug at the many thousands of deaths related to respiratory illness that occur among the geriatric and the morbidly obese every year, not the mention the millions of Americans who die each year from various other

The point is that of all of the places where a kid could be socialized the public schools are at best sub-par and at worst counterproductive. It seems appropriate to you likely because it's a societal norm and it's what you'v

Public schools are generally pretty terrible at socialization. The students interact mostly only with kids of their same exact age. Bullying and violence are ubiquitous. Sure, you learn how to conduct yourself in that particular environment

No, I'm betting that changes in U.S. production will have little to no impact on inspiring China and India to decrease their emissions.

Well I'll take that bet. Climate activists have advocated that precisely the opposite should happen: that they should maintain or even increase their growth since they are developing economies.

How do we convince China and India to lessen their CO2 production in any meaningful way?

I don't think that's true. You could make an effort to show that you'd solved some of the more well-known technical problems, e.g., different messaging architecture to handle users with millions of async subscribers. As it st

Right, so if someone takes military action with a non-zero chance of civilian death then they have committed an evil on par with the holocaust, no?
