Having a pi cluster "feels" more like a datacenter with many servers. Using kubernetes to coordinate it all is pretty fun when you actually have several "servers" to coordinate across. That to me was the satisfying part.

The only use case I can think of would be helping family with their linux install... and if this is already installed on their machines, it was probably put there by me... just as easy for me to put my ssh pubkeys on there too.

As far as I know, the "bottle" system is available in standard wine too (as wine prefixes), Codeweavers just provides a very fancy wrapper for the system and tools for managing the bottles. And that is definitely very handy if you

This time looking at this, I notice they have Dockerfile.rpi. the kicker for moving to gogs from gitlab was that gogs had a prebuilt official rpi image... but it was several version behind the x86 one. I have no issues building images mysel

I love easter eggs in open source code. I was able to easily find this in the code and learned a bit about neocities and geocities URL formats in the process. I was expecting that neocities sites would have similar URLs to geocities (in the

That was an exaggeration, but many times programs that look identical (aside from window frames) across platforms don't show the window frames for every platform. Electron apps (for as unpopular as they may be) are pretty platform agno

Banana pi is probably overkill for a low-key git repo. Its double the price of a raspberry pi. That said, I'll actually be looking into this to possibly run arm stuff that needs more power.
