We started using Squadcast: https://squadcast.com Their free and lower prices tiers offer a lot of what others have on their top/most expensive tiers. Also, integrations with various alert sources are just easier in most ca

When I first read about the Pixel Pass, I wished it made sense for people on existing family plans. But digging deeper, I see that's the least of the problems there. Some red flags: * If/when you cancel Pixel Pass in the future, i

In addition, the NodeJS cold start time can be further optimized by bundling into a single file artifact to reduce the amount of disk IO needed when requiring dependencies. Webpack, Parcel, ESBuild, and other bundlers could achieve that, I&

> NodeJs is the slowest runtime, after some time it becomes better(JIT?) but still is not good enough. In addition, we see the NodeJS has the worst maximum duration. The conclusion drawn about NodeJS performance is flawed due to a quirk

You pretty much always have to define your record type with `| undefined` tacked on to the value type parameter. With that, the problem mostly goes away.

To me, form factor is a bigger limitation than lack of NFC support. I'd mostly want this replacing the 5C Nano I leave in the laptop that actually travels with me. A clunky key like this would have to be left for desktop use.

Bank of America supports it and like you'd expect, supports bypassing via SMS. Even worse is that they only let you register a single key.

I feel like storybook is more complicated than it needs to be, but it's still valuable. I've used it with success in the past. It essentially gives you a standardized way to build out a fully implemented design system rather than

VSCode has come a long way in making this easier for newcomers. The Remote repositories extension basically will open up a link in Github to generate the Personal Authentication token to associate with your VSCode app and that's it. h

Just saw this posted on Reddit earlier. The performance lags a lot, but it's insane to see VSCode running in a simulated OS in a browser in an OS. It's pretty neat.

The biggest issue for me is that the M1 Macbooks can't drive two external displays. A GPU improvement (or whatever else is holding it back here) is sorely needed for a "Pro" device. 32GB RAM would be nice as well.

Ironically, this is actually the improved policy. It actually used to be even more locked down and pretty much disallowed you from doing any game development at all. Source: I previously worked at Amazon for many years.

Your interfaces rarely change in isolation though, right? If they're changing, so are a lot of the places you're interacting with the fields of objects of those types. A "Refactor>Rename Symbol" flow on the interface
