I feel fortunate to live in a time where AI is pushing the bounds of what is possible. It makes me question what I think is real, and why. If I saw this a year ago, there is no way that I would have believed it was real. There have been too

If this gets passed in 2024, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. There are probably a lot of homeless people who could benefit from this and wouldn’t cause issues for the hotels. On the other hand, there is also a portion of the

I enjoying writing Netcat clones when learning a new language (or even a new paradigm in one I already know). Netcat hits a lot of interesting areas like sockets, error handling, and threading/concurrency.

Last year I got bit by the productivity bug pretty hard. I tried all sorts of different tools/solutions to try and be as productive as possible in my personal and professional life. I am ok with using multiple systems and ended up deci

I was in the first wave of a multi-wave lay off recently and after seeing how awful it was for the "survivors" to get RIF'd a couple weeks later, I am glad I was out asap.

I just finished a three month vacation between jobs and I agree. Getting (what felt like) so far away from my career, I really got to interrogate my dreams, goals, and plans. I’m still battling with some tough realizations from this time, b

I have an M1 Air and I use it with a Samsung CRG9 monitor. For a while I had to manually set the refresh rate, which was annoying, but since the latest MacOS update I haven’t had any issues.
