I went to Sonos because I had invested in some Airplay speakers and they just didn't work correctly even though I have an 100% Apple eco-system. Once I went to Sonos, it just worked.

I can confirm, last night my internet was not working, and a sonos speaker started randomly playing an alarm. I tried using the app to disable it but it requires the internet to manage your local speakers. I don't recall this being the
