For Dropbox like stuff I use Nextcloud. Means I can select which files I want to download on my phone. For individual transfers of files a la airdrop I use Tailscale’s Taildrop

Surprised no one has mentioned the big difference in that you can copy paste from asciinema animations but not from a vhs gif. At least last I looked it was like that.

Funny how only Facebook is making these statements? I am sure that a multitude of other services (Dropbox, Twitter, etc) also require data transfer between Europe and the US. /s Oh yeah, because they need the data to make money.
