Ahh true... That book is really deep. I love it. Unrelated comment, but I feel compelled to mention... I just moved to SF and read that book right when I got here, only to find out that Pirsigs son (who is one of the main characters of the

Not tech related, but I loved Devil in the White City by Larson and Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Pirsig. Also, I reread Rework about 3 times this year. Always a good and quick read.

Same here... I was with KeyBank for a while too and had this happen. Fifth Third is even worse about it.

Yes, most banks do this now as a way to take advantage of their customers and generate more revenue. I had it happen once on a road trip -- you know, the type where you stop frequently and purchase $2-$3 of junk food or drinks all the time

I definitely noticed myself becoming more open (as mentioned in the article), much more laid back and less neurotic (though the article mentioned this not being affected), and just a calmer, more rational, loving person in general. I also

Ahh yes, I forgot to mention the importance of an experienced "babysitter" for your first trip or three, until you're confident and fully comprehend where your mind will be going for the ensuing 3-6 hours.

To me it appears to be nothing more than a redesign of the traditional wall? Yes, I understand the concerns about the "sharing" of information--something which I think people don't quite understand yet--but other than that I feel like peopl

It's interesting to consider "spending" an hour a day on the service. What if I pop in like 10-15 times a day to check notifications. I feel like it's a lot of usage, but total time is actually quite minimal. In addition, I have Adium si

I am using it as a template for a side project and we decided to switch our internal tools over to it within my company to limit the amount of time we waste trying to make our tools look just right when we're the only ones looking at them.

I've never used a static site builder in any language, but I'd be tempted to use this. The only problem I see is that, off the top of my head, I can't think of a use for all these extra features. What sort of use cases do people use these
