Perhaps I'm missing something, but in years of development using git as our scm, I have never used checkout -f. I've used reset --hard HEAD here and there. Is there any difference in their use? Also, are there a lot of developers who work

I don't think this is really a Silicon Valley problem so much as it's a society problem in general. We technophiles are just much more inclined to bitch about it on the internet.

I like it... I've been wanting a simple, no-bullshit task app that allowed subtasks. You may have just won me over. One thing, though... Make the drag/drop icon area larger... Multiple times I've gone to drag and just ended up selecting a

Just an idea I had, thought someone might find it interesting. I may clean it up and make it into a plugin if there's interest. Note I've only tested in Chrome (osx). edit: fixed bug http://jsfiddle.net/VtAAs/10/

I came here to make this point as well... Education _is_ gamified. While some seem to think that changing the scoring/reward system is the key to moving forward, I think the gamification itself is the problem with education (to a degree).

Nice... I'm considering switching over to XBMC for a week or two to see how I like it. I might write a blog post to compare the two soon. Moving this week though, so it might be a while.
