On March 13, 2017 DMOZ should just approve all submissions. Especially those that have been waiting 7+ years to get their site approved.

Apparently search engines, like Google, think that computers do a better job than humans. I still like the human element, even though it may not be as efficient.

I do agree that dmoz did a very terrible job at fulfilling the requests. That ultimately was the downfall and why so many didn't like DMOZ. But there were way to get in, no matter what (unfortunately).

What’s sad here is that we’re now in an era where AI and other computers are now categorizing and approving websites. It’s no longer a volunteer-editor driven web world. Now, only a search engine algorithm decides whether or not a site is t

Well, ICANN has approved over 600 dot brand TLDs. I suspect we're going to be seeing a lot of them here in the near future.

Amazon paid a lot for that .AWS TLD ($185,000 ICANN application fee alone plus other expenses). I would imagine that this is one of the first sites of many that they'll launch on their .AWS TLD.

Google Analytics already filters out fair amount of bot traffic from Google Analytics (compare your server log files with GA traffic and you'll see what I mean). Why they haven't tackled this problem is a mystery.

Sure, we can filter it out, but the real question is, “when will Google take care of referral spam?”. Referral spam has been plaguing Google Analytics for a few years now. For some websites (with less than 100 visitors a day) it’s gotten so

Interesting that you mention Facebook. Only decent experiences I've had lately has been posting something in closed "for sale" groups on Facebook and buying/selling something in person in my local area.

From what I understand, your google account wouldn't be suspended. It would be the individual services that could be suspended. Like you would still be able to access gmail if your YouTube account was suspended.

Won't there be third party vendors selling these adapters for much less? If it's just for travel I won't mind using one that's not from Apple.

I have no problem with AMP--I've even implemented it on my sites. The issue I have is that Google is caching AMP pages on Google.com and never sending the traffic over to the site that originated the content.

One of the problems here is that when users click on a search result (marked AMP in Google's SERPs), they expect to visit a website. Instead, they visit a cached version of the page, on Google's site. This is deceiving. If Google&
