I have heard nothing but good things about learndatalogtoday.com Datalog suffers from some of the same problems that SQL does (different dialects). It does seem to me that Datomic and Datascript have the most intuitive syntax.

Not to mention Steam ships its own runtime on Linux, and developers can just statically link anything else that they need.

I'm pretty sure the 737 Max planes has been entirely assembled in Washington State, where the Boeing employees are unionized.

Absolutely on the money. The corruption/inefficiency in US government is staggering. I am not sure how it is in other countries, but a major problem in the United States is that government employee unions are allowed to lobby the gover

Amen. S-expressions allow you to navigate the code through your editor, and everything is consistent. Semicolons, commas, and curly braces are major cognitive overhead.

Certainly the pace of growth has slowed, but the language is still growing at a lessor pace. I would say Leiningen/Maven is a major strength of the clojure ecosystem. However, if you do not like Leiningen, now there is now an "out

I use parcel every day at work, and have used it for side-projects as well. In many ways Parcel is worse - Parcel is a giant monolith, so when things work it is great. For simple projects it is often fine. However when you are trying to do

Yeah Reagent is definitely the most productive front-end development flow. Just having hiccup vs JSX is a huge win. With JSX I spend most of my time chasing down syntax errors. With Hiccup I can simply use my IDE to navigate the code and sy

To me this is kind of strange, I thought Intel had a good reputation as far as Ethernet and Wireless drivers were concerned. Certainly much better than (old) Broadcom, Realtek, Ralink, ST and the like.

It is really amazing how much money Intel has thrown away chasing "mobile" dollars. First, they squandered billions trying to make mobile Socs, now the last part of the company that can get inside a cell phone is throwing in the t

Very nice work. Clojure's REPL support is orders of magnitude better than Python's. Hopefully Clojure will be able to compete with Python in the near future for data science/ML work.
