You don't have to chain callbacks, you can use monadic Future libraries. Look into "Future" for bucklescript, or "Lwt" for reason-native.

You are looking for "reason-language-server". You can download a VSCode extension with it from the VSCode "marketplace", and if you use a different editor like Vim you can use the language server with whatever vim langua

Unfortunately large portions of the US government operate outside of civilian oversight. (TSA, CBP, NSA) etc. At this point foreign governments should probably be advising their citizens to take a burner phone to the US.

Amazing news. Unfortunately, without HiDPI support, most Linux DEs other than Gnome and KDE have been unusable for years.

Fun fact: Broadcom is now actually a former HP spin-off spin- off (HP->Agilent->Avago), but is now worth more than Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP Inc, Agilent and Keysight combined.

Agreed. This seems like one of the most obvious conclusions of research of all time. Why so you need to research an elephant? A simple visit to a local animal shelter would have probably sufficed.

If anyone is interested in early human development/the onset of civilization I highly recommend the book "Sapiens". Really compelling pop-science book if you are interested into that kind of thing.

A major problem is that regulatory capture leads to less competition, yet the common solution proposed is "more regulation/government". The US federal government effectively forced Boeings 2nd biggest competition to shut down

I understand your sentiment. However, put yourself in the shoes of a manager. Who does he look to promote? Those who are already doing the job. It is annoying, but at least Square is codifing this so that the expectation is explicit.

You can donate to charities that directly purchase rainforest. Rainforesttrust.org is one. They can purchase an acre of land for around 10 dollars. Right now the main issue is that last year they only received 15 million in donations. Not n

In my opinion the worst thing about the Ocaml/ReasonML platform is that discovery of language features/syntax/functions is needlessly difficult. There is no Hoogle equivalent for OCaml. Module functors are powerful, but the t

You could look into Turtle graphics and Clojure. This is a modern take on "Logo" - a language designed for children, but the learnings can be applied directly to Clojure/Clojurescript. http://timothypratley.github.
