Maybe, maybe not. The thing that I prefer is choice, let people decide for themselves. I prefer the option of having dark/dim modes when I have a migraine (yes, I shouldn't be using a computer then but sometimes you need to).

Nope, he’s not lying. Worked at 3 redbricks. It is exactly as described.

I thought I read somewhere that they were suing charities (?), which if true leaves me feeling it’s not so much of a bad thing that he’s doing.

Any kind of light in my bedroom is deeply annoying to me when trying to sleep. And I have the same problem with sound too. Any kind of high pitch, etc, from a plug, light, etc, really does cause problems with my sleep.

I don't know. I think people associate FPS with the shooty part and the kill, kill, kill mentality, which, while you do this in Portal, it's not the same. It's more of a puzzler/platformer.

Not sure that it is. Obviously, you will get people that have no clue, but people should roughly know where most countries are.

I have that in the UK, so it's not just a US problem. IME, unless you pay for an expensive/specific room, hotels seem to push you towards the horrible rooms first, mostly the noisey ones - front facing near traffic, rear rooms nex

Before H&M you need to talk about Gap. Their local store to me in the UK is almost always permanently empty. I still use them to buy basics, but always shop online. Superdry, the same - it's always empty, but I'm not a fan of

In comparison to what, though? It's easy to knock the Beeb, but compare the output (TV, Radio, and Web) to anything vaguely similar and you will probably appreciate the quality. They're not just making docus, it's so much mor

I'm not sure that they give the BBC a run for its money - you're talking about quite a lot of Beeb output ;-) I agree that they are of an unusually high standard.

Let's not confuse reputable with anything healthy, which is the danger of some of your statements, both quoted and unquoted. The largest tobacco manufacturers were reputable, but that didn't stop them from killing people.

Puts me off too, has done for years. I thought I had read that it wasn't an issue now? If only they just ditched it for Intel all would be well. The coil whine is the other thing that put me off - with each release I end up searching f

Have a look at what RetroPie provides for the RPi. It's brilliant for emulation and will hopefully improve with the RPi4 4GB :)

Another Oaky fan here, he was great in the early '90s. Enjoyed Fluro, and some of his Global Underground mixes. Wish I still had a good copy of the original Goa Mix - I know there are variants of it on YouTube and Spotify.

Oaky's Goa Mix (the original version, not the one used with all of the cleared material) was pretty much legendary stuff in the UK in the '90s and I do think he helped make trance fairly mainstream. The knock on effect was that wh
