I found myself in a similar situation about a year ago. Started developing https://mocktastic.com (REST API mocking electron app, with team collaboration) on the side. It's kept me going through periods of mind numbing bore

One important reason people choose to use Electron instead of opening the app in a Browser window, is that the browser blocks a lot of standard keyboard shortcuts. So for example, if you want to capture Ctrl+Tab and move to the next note, b

I made this little helper utility, since I often needed to test out an API client, with the dev version running locally. Like how /etc/hosts maps domain names to ip addresses, /etc/ports maps domain names to specific por

The issue is not the technical capability. It has been possible to inject javascript into web views in ios since ios 6 (at the least). The problem is that Apple App Store terms state that your app cannot download arbitrary pieces of code fr

Didn't know mockoon existed until now. I had pretty much only used Postman's server mock functionality and a few command line tools. Comparing those + mockoon and mocktastic, I'd say major differences are: - Runs offline

When hiring for a senior role, you should also consider that the person, who is already in a similar role, would not have the time to spend on your humongous homework app. When literally the only free time I have for myself and my family is
