Have to second this. I am actually in the market for multiple of the listed skills, but I'm going to pass on this specifically because your interview process seems like a huge time sink.
You could cut it down to Phone interview, Take-home coding assignment (or) Pair programming interview, Technical Interview(s).
The logical and aptitude test is quite redundant considering all the programming rounds before it.
How do you do a 'Cultural Interview'? Isn't cultural fit something you should have your interviewers noticing in the other rounds of interviewing?
And whatever is a 'Social Economic Justice round'? Sounds like a round where the HR tries to guilt you into taking a lower salary :P
- sidcool 9y agoAlthough the number of rounds are high, each one is pretty short. There are other posts in this thread which mention 4-5 hours of tech interviews. Our two technical rounds don't exceed 2 hours. Culture interview round is to understand the overall fit of the candidate with ThoughtWorks culture. This is a normal round in many tech companies, however most don't mention it explicitly. Social and Economic Justice round is a discussion with the candidate on his/her views of important social and economic issues. ThoughtWorks has a deeply ingrained culture of Social justice and we do a lot of community work with technology in mind.
