Street tracks has to conform to the same strict rules as the regular ones. That's why they usually have much smaller average speeds, so things like huge run-off areas are not needed. Take a look at your video again: only in one place the ca

I'd recommend www.skyscanner.net, at least for the European users. Sure, they lack simplistic interfaces of Hipmunk or Kayak but when it comes to actually finding the cheapest tickets and best connections on the old contintent low fare airl

It's rather easy to make minimized JavaScript readable again though. For example, Chrome's Web Developer Tools have such feature built-in.

It's not perfect, because you need to do more scrolling, The fixed interval animation used while scrolling trough apps is quite ridiculous. Scrolling back to the first app once you got to 4th or 5th takes more time than searching the same

Well, the problem is that beside the most popular apps 'used by everyone' there are niche apps, used by just a bunch of people. And these make the difference. Classic example of 80/20 rule.

Honestly, I found flexbox to be a mess. Old specs, new specs, polyfills, vendor prefixes and so on make it painful to implement. And once you succeed the code looks horribly. Heck, the code isn't that much clearer even if you resort to pure

The greatest disappointment (for me) comes from the fact that free turn-by-turn navigation is not available for iPhone 4. That particular feature made me happy about Apple's switch from Google's to their own solution. I couldn't care less f

Facebook did a lot of harm to the reputation of HTML5 with that app. Sometimes it took a few minutes to render comments for a photo or an user profile or a few items on a news feed. Of course, DOM/CSS/JS is slower than native - but it doesn

According to Firebug: roughly 250 KB is transferred, half of that is lazy loaded (after DOMready, I suppose) and it looks like the biggest file (75KB) is from Google+. All scripts uncompressed (not un-minimized) weigh about 740 KB.

That shouldn't be that much of a problem as most of the pages on iOS are displayed in an in-app web views (in apps like: Twitter, Facebook, etc.). Ok, "bookmark-icons" will open in Safari - doubt it's a very popular feature though.

So, the news here is that's "CSS only". Well, I hope no one will ask for pointer-events removal because of this. The feature is very useful exactly because it doesn't require JS (example: transparent tooltips). And for hijackers it makes

Nokia should make a compact camera with this technology - with a better flash, lens and so on. It's a dying market but with this size and a DSLR-like quality - could be a huge hit anyway. And no one would complain about OS or lack of apps.

I think they won't mind leaving it the way it is for some time. It could be used as a sort of a subconscious metaphor: keyboards/old logo is the thing of the past and touch screen/new logo is "the now".

After a first glimpse: multiple classes per node (or things like class=" " ) are handled incorrectly and DOM hierarchy is ignored altogether ( ul li ul anyone?). I wouldn't recommend this tool to anyone, sorry.
