Started feeling kind of boring at gen 20 — it was just the same all the time. Maybe the pace is really too slow.

Specificity and cascading become redundant once we talk css modules. I work with CSS modules so I can't remember the last time I had to_ cascade_ style sheets, or _think_ about specificity.

Same here. I'm still using duckduckgo on my private devices (phone and home laptop), at work I'm using google. I suppose the reason this works for me is at work I need GOOD results, thus google search there. At home I just need a

First two are somewhat easily solve-able, yet it involves JavaScript. Sadly, most devs know how to implement an infinite scroll, but lack the skill to implement it properly. Footer — there should be none on an infinitely-scrolled page, but

Same here. Was expecting Safari to suggest a password, yet it did not. By inspecting the cause I was appalled to see custom inputs! Mother of dragons!

I am a developer (20 years professional experience) and I have both the 2015 Pro and 2018 Pro. You do get used to the tactile-less-ness of the touchbar for the escape key. And I've yet to find a use for the function keys. Can't re

If this really NEEDS to be a client-side-only solution, I still believe a worker is the only way to go. Only, in this case, it needs to behave like an API. So your worker not only parses the JSON, but also responds to post messages with onl

Not quite true. You'd spend half of the travel time under 1g accelerating, then the ship does a 180 degree flip in 0g, and then you spend another half of the travel time under 1g decelerating. Edit: Of course, at constant 1g accelerati

I absolutely love hooks and don't want to use the `React.Component` class ever again. And yes, hooks need to be grasped, they're quite something else. But once you get the hang of hooks, they're very simple to understand. OP

Absolutely correct. Yet the only point of obfuscating JavaScript I can see is to execute malign code, which implies that it's targeted at people who "won't bother" deobfuscating or even looking at it anyway, which makes

Aren't JS obfuscators futile? The code will still end up in the JS VM, and you can't really obfuscate the actual AST.

That would happen when, for example, you're saving the value of the text input in redux, and the input is then updated with that value on change, although it's also updated by the user typing and the thread is blocked at the same

The only things that are "coupled" to redux are actions dispatched from components. They themselves are very abstract, and when needed are connected using { connect }.

From my experience I found this kind of separation to be somewhat redundant and am simply using redux to manage all state — both global and local context. This also means that components are simply components, and setTimeouts and everything

Correct. The whole page is rendered on the server. The way it would be rendered by a PHP script. There is no need to pre-render anything else, it's a SPA. The concept of pre-rendering is usually redundant in the context of SPAs.
