I just checked, and only three of the thirteen "blocked" sites are not working. Of those eztv.is appears to have a DNS problem (no A record, only an SOA record pointing at a parking address of the registrar), and traceroutes archi

Wow, those guys sure know how to not make friends. Last I checked choice of bundled or system libraries is normally reserved for distro packagers, and one would really hope the system libs win out wherever possible!

Yes, I love ST reference manuals. Sometimes it's easier to poke registers directly using the definitions in the CMSIS headers when you're doing something more complicated with the ST reference manual as your reference. The layer o

Is there a reason you wouldn’t use one of the many more comprehensive monitoring solutions e.g. Zabbix?

Didn't know that, thanks. The reason for me was that Plex kept corrupting it's database every few months, whereas I haven't had to touch Emby (other than upgrading via system package manager).

Except it’s a very one-sided deal when “you” doesn’t fully understand (or even begin to understand) what’s being given up. Find me five people off the street who can explain the implications of tapping yes to install that root cert.

If you look at the roadmap section there's really nothing to screenshot yet. Widgets available: View, Image, Text. Widgets not available: Input, Button, Slider, Checkbox, ScrollView and everything else not on their list.

This unfortunately gets messy when you're targeting multiple compilers, and in some cases multiple versions of the same compiler.

Just to add more context, this is a very common cpp (c pre-processor) idiom. You'll find it in most non-trivial C projects somewhere.

Likewise, I preferred to setup a VPN (well, that still needs dnat but...) with the benefit of my devices always going through my trusted home network when I'm out and about. It's super simple with wireguard, and the iOS client app

Qbs is (was?) a great build system even for non-Qt projects. The declarative syntax is simple, clear, and in no way Qt specific. Sadly it just never gained the traction it deserved.

The mechanism is called StateLess Address Auto-Configuration (SLAAC) [0]. It removes the need for DHCP, and the determinism is very convenient. There are of course privacy downsides for deterministic addresses that are globally routable, an
