How does this change anything at all? The assessor determines the approximate value. That value is theoretically the same whether occupied or not and is already taxed. I don’t follow what this “land value tax” is proposing to change.

Socialized medicine has nothing to do with this problem. You can squarely place the blame on the AMA who (proudly) lobbied for years to cap Federal funding for medical Dr education and residency.

Colleges/Universities absolutely do not need more money...they need more accountability. I'm not arguing with your numbers, I guess my point is that I don't think taxpayers will accept a huge "freebie" for one group

Local taxpayers/property owners? That model doesn’t really work to fund higher education. The public won’t accept doubling or tripling their property tax.

This sounds like less accountability when fixing the problem requires more. America needs to stop letting their University systems bloat everything unrelated to actual education and research.

Well, we don't necessarily need as much storage if we can just shift a good amount of demand. Fertilizer production via this method might be a good fit for times when rates are low or even negative due to wind energy overproduction dur

I've looked into this, actually. I was trying to develop some lots that were zoned multifamily and wanted to build some duplexes/triplexes. The quality tends to be lower, the floorplans are very limited, and there isn't much

Costco almost isn't a fair way to compare prices because they have intentionally been losing margin and raising prices as slowly as possible to retain customers.
