What about kids that haven’t been exposed to programming or CS and have no idea whether or not they would be interested?
- mcpackieh 3y agoDidn't most people here start that way? Maybe I'm just projecting, but I assume that most people in this industry got into programming on their own without any adult introducing it to them.
- WalterBright 3y agoMy parents learned a bit about programming so they'd know what I was blathering about.
- WalterBright 3y agoThe 1980s were full of programmers who were entirely self-taught, a lot of them as kids. Many begged their parents to get them a home computer. Computers weren't secret then.
