You are not alone. I had terrible trouble parsing the end of the title because I've literally just finished watching yesterday's episode of Doctor Who.

You are not wrong in asking this, but the way you asked led people to believe that you are against such a thing, and people who object to what they perceive as your belief will down-vote you. As Scott Adams has so rightly pointed out, we ar

Do you think that because you disagree with her political views? Genuinely curious. Doing a study on how people interpret texts. Agreement seems to be a significant factor in how much people like an article.

In my experience, it's always been easier for me to implement something once I've seen a working example of it. That's basically what examples are for: A "cheat sheet" for reverse engineers. Software is only easier

I think if you boil you definition of love down to "doing what is best for the other, regardless of consequences to self", then some of the conflict would disappear (obviously not all). I suspect that a large portion of the confli

I've actually got a iPhone to cassette interface (I would call it a cable, but one end looks like an actual cassette) in my desk drawer, so that I could play my music in my car. New car now (well, new to me), so it's redundant.

I thought it used to be: a british billion is a million million i.e. 1,000,000,000,000. Thus a british billion is 1000 * an american billion. Nowadays we use the american billion of 1,000,000,000. Pretty sure we all agree that a million is
