Also, (and almost totally unrelated) Azimov predicted tunnels for autonomous vehicles in his Daneel Olivaw books. Mind you, he also predicted "rolling roadways", like a big conveyor belt instead of trains.

I humbly suggest that that law has lost it's moral compass and needs to be addressed. Once you reject the principle that "all people are created equally human", then you run the risk of being on the "wrong side", an

And I do actually remember the amazement in the community when she stayed dead, rather than springing back to life as though it had never happened in the next episode.

As I recall, there was a pretty even split amongst the population. Approximately half my friends wanted to stay, and half wanted to leave. Which pretty much mirrored the actual result. It was very close.

Too many! We started off all ad-hoc, in the room chatting about stuff, and when we got a remote team, we switched to TFS, with phone calls and Skype. Someone suggested Slack, so we tried that, and then someone else suggested Teams, so we tr

The Complete Robot by Issac Azimov. Well actually, I couldn't decide between "I-Robot" and "The rest of the robots", but luckily there's a compendium with them both in.

Now try it with an unpopular view. People can lose their job over a racist tweet, get fired for a sexist comment. Bear in mind that I personally reject those things as abhorent, but "no fear of reprisal"? Mind you, I do agree that

I believe that Eudora used the standard email format of the day (RFC822), so it was really easy to extract emails to use/store as you wish.

A reasonable hypothesis. I like it. I'm not a scientist, so I do not know how to specifically verify or disprove it, but my understanding is that the only way to be sure is to actually perform an experiment to check; removing or contro

Trouble is that NAT solved a huge chunk of the problem. The current setup is not quite painful enough for people to want to fix it. The good is the enemy of the great, as it were.

I, too, was expecting instructions on how to control dreams. It's something I can do with varying success when I become aware that I'm dreaming, and I was hoping that this might help me improve the chances of becoming aware that I

The way the concrete is laid there gives mis-clues. I had a funny brain-wobble whilst watching the video, playing “hunt for the lane”. I guess the car decided on the wrong one, with fatal consequences.
