Yeah I like FF sync to move tabs and send stuff to other devices. I have an android phone, an iPad and a Linux PC.

I am a fat guy and I can explain why I am fat - I eat too much food and don't do enough exercise. Guest what happened when I ate less food? Lost weight

I just had some drone photos taken of damage on the roof of my house, and it's way easier than trying to get up 4 storeys with a ladder

Mullvad VPN does this. No email. No password. Just an account number. If you want to to send them an envelope full of cash, you can.

You go in, fire replace or sideline anyone who isn't 100% profit motivated then the culture is gone, no? Time is then only going to make that worse

Nah it's annoying when someone joins and people have to re-explain what we were just talking about

If you are offline on IRC you don't get messages. I use a bouncer etc but that's more than the average person should have to worry about. There is https://www.irccloud.com/ but I fear it's too little too late

This isn't entirely untrue, particularly the part about source code releases lagging, but I would say: - You can download an apk from signal that self-updates - Telegram isn't encrypted by default and uses a home-brew protocol

Yeah I fired up OBS for the first time and it was surprisingly easy to get set up. Every time I had a 'right how do I do x?' moment I figured it out in seconds.

So, the AI analysis uses a huge amount of energy, and DAITA also uses surplus energy. Quite a sad time we are heading into :(

This is all valid, but I would say that their actual EV tech, ie battery management, charging network and efficiency is still best in class. Of course now they've gutted this team perhaps that won't be the case for long

99% of the time I use the 'weigh your own bag' option it asks someone to approve my bag. It's annoying. Also, the 'bagging area' is on different sides in different shops. Also annoying.

There was that web demo that auto detected ads on live radio using this. (It just switched to another station)

Oh it's funny you say that, I have a T495 and one of the USB-C ports has stopped working. Luckily there's another one I can charge from but it really feels like a ticking time bomb.

Whenever I get bubble tea they ask how much sugar you want. One place offers it as a percentage, going up to 50%! But you can order it with none at all.

Yeah it's definitely cheaper. My used £150 phone has been running fine for 4 years now. I'm not saying it's an equivalent experience to spending more money, but it's cheaper.

I will check this out. I currently use the excellent ToonSquid, but I really like Procreate for drawing. ToonSquid does a really cool thing where their flashy marketing video turns out to be a demo project in the app you can look at and edi

I think there will always be a market for this. Maybe not a big one, but surely there are enough people out there who just want to stick a disc in the player and press play, rather than sign up to loads of different services.
