I don’t think this actually provides “defense-in-depth” as they claim. At the end of the day, whatever signals they determine mean “bot” or not are the actual critical defense. I’m assuming their PoW system doesn’t scale the work for human-

I have the exact same experience. I got “reputation” by creating a daily do-welled that would collect np by automating all of the daily tasks. That let me into the private bb forum channels that had the auto buyers, captcha solvers, etc. I

I’d bet they’re prepared to do a ton of damage to South Korea via cyberarms more than traditional weaponry too. Eg cut power to the country for days on end. They’ve clearly got 0days and aren’t afraid to use them.

Wow I thought I was the only one - fried a Yubikey and a Logitech webcam because I forgot I plugged it into the “cursed” port. Took a bit to convince IT to req me a new laptop.

Probably not as big as you’d think. I’d say “high confidence” is a good enough bar for this feature vs. perfection. I’ve never been upset when Target says 1 in stock but the aisle is empty - that’s just the reality of it. If the app has mor

Was going to reply the same thing. Spotify is so much. Enter when you think of it as a tool to play music. Sometimes diving into the algorithm can be rewarding, and sometimes you want to break free. I don’t intend this to sound shilling, bu

I had birds build a nest in a nook where I put the spikes going up and down like stalactites and stalagmites. They didn’t care and built right in the middle of the spikes… will look at just boarding up the nook next year I guess.

I'm under the assumption that there are groups that require reputation to join (e.g. on private Telegram) that have a higher barrier of entry than a public Discord invite.

I work, kind of, in this space - and it's been wild to me how incredibly easy it is to embed myself into public Discord servers that offer fraud/abuse bots. That might speak to the sophistication of what I find (vs. groups with be

I loved this comment so much, I had to toss the first sentence into a DALL-E Mini renderer. It came up with this: https://imgur.com/a/P6SPhlH . This one left me with the most sense of existential dread that I get out of

I'm not sure why they have to be mutually exclusive. Some people are good at research and some people are good at politics. Why would the folks good at doing research stop doing the research and try to change policy? Parallelization is

As someone with incredibly bad eyes, going from my 2015 Honda Accord's stock headlights to a Tesla Model 3's brighter LEDs have been a big boon on my driving confidence at night. Just offering a different perspective that I actual

This still mostly sounds like a useReducer. With TypeScript you can guarantee the built code only respects a finite state shape. Depending on the dispatched action, you can just default to returning the previous state - refusing to move unl

This seems like a good way to accidentally turn every icon into a dropdown. It's really hard to see the benefit of this Action component instead of just rendering say an `<Icon>` where you want. So much simpler to read, and the e
