There's no logical equivalency between SQL and ML/AI. SQL is a language that helps retrieve the data you're looking. ML/AI helps you predict the future (using past data). Maybe this is directed towards product people? B

If you read the article, he is defining this group of 'great white males' to be three writers who the literary world actually refer to as 'The Great Narcissists'. https://www.dfwsociety.org/2017/12&#

That he used the term "great white males" when he should have used "Great Male Narcissists". Would a high school newspaper even make a mistake such as this? It's either sloppy, malicious, or both.

The author of the article does not use "great white males" as a personal pronoun. Nor does the article you linked include any mention of race.

Silly me, I didn't know "white" is a term that describes age.

The article called Roth "one of the last great white males". I had to read that five times to make sure that phrase was actually used. wtf. How is this okay on any level?

Monetize and monopolize are synonymous in Silicon Valley. Read Thiel's Zero to One.

Google wants to monopolize, not democratize, AI. I wonder if Google tests for Doublethink skills before you can get hired there now.

A blog post as an apology? I can picture the CEO in a meeting, "Hey if this doesn't work out, we can just draft a really sincere sounding letter to our creators."

I've heard of several people getting screwed over by Freelancer. I don't see them as being around too often. Maybe Upwork and others will displace them? I recommend Open Door ( https://opendoorconnect.com/ ) to mark

No, you're not an outlier. I want to know more about content marketing but that was next level smarmy. I think we all want more women in tech but Jesus, their arrogance is cringe worthy.

When is AutoPi going to add the option to go keyless through facial, voice, optical, or fingerprint recognition? I guess Ford already patented something like this but it would be nice to have it open source too. http://www.biomet

My thought was to make the algorithm a bit less blunt by sampling routes that are relevant to your lifestyle. Just might spice it up if you partition the bucket of all routes into spaces defined by your lifestyle too. It would be interestin

Genius. My only comment is in how you measure the value of an address. It seems very likely that your algorithm would converge to areas that are only centrally located. Perhaps it could be improved if the algorithm took an input of common r

The greatest minds in computer science worked out the math and theory long before the tech became practical. There is value in the theory and I think some of us enjoy it, even if it's not practical.

The influence of tech companies isn't measured in how much they donate to each party (as the article suggests) so much as it is how they use their powerful technology to influence public opinion and collude with politicians in private.
